Artist's Description

A high-speed low-pass of this WWII fighter plane at an altitude of twelve feet at the Riverside, California 2013 Air Show! Interesting fact: The "WD" on the tail means that this aircraft was stationed at El Toro Marine Air Base during the war and the graphics were provided by Walt Disney.

About Jim Moss

Jim Moss

Hi! Thanks for visiting my website. I've been so busy putting my images here that I haven't yet had the time to write a bio. That will come soon, once I have a decent body of work to display. In the meantime, allow me to share a quote of Mark Twain that I use for inspiration: "You cannot depend on your eyes if your imagination is out of focus." And another from Ansel Adams: "There is nothing worse than a brilliant image of a fuzzy concept." I'm actively creating art and displaying it here; so, please come back often. You may even find something you like ... you never know!
